This '62 Cruisers Inc. 20' V502 was used as a fishing boat until I bought it in 2006. Restoration was
done by Sherwood Marine in Sebring, Ohio. The hull was completely stripped and refinished. The foredeck
was replaced with mahogany planks in the Chris Craft style. A new mahogany windshield was installed
(both windows open out). A mahogany-framed hardtop was designed and built to make this a one-of a-kind
runabout. The original front seats were saved, refinished and reinstalled. A new aft bench seat was installed,
with storage under. Interior hull was covered with wood combing. All side and aft decks recieved new wood.
A new dash board of solid walnut relaced the original. All decks and interior wood were stained with Interlux
Chris Craft mahogany stain, and finished with multiple coats of varnish. Originally powered by a 90hp Mercury,
a second 100hp Mercury was added. Each motor has its own controls. A good dual-axle tilt trailer with new
tires is included. Cruises at 25 mph with the 90hp, and will do 38 mph with both motors operating. The boat
has been in the water this summer and runs great. Was shown at the 2007 and 2008 Portage Lakes Antique
Boat Shows, and drew a great deal of attention. There is still plenty of summer left, and this beauty is ready
for the water. Any questions contact John Poulos at : 330-962-1767 or 330-535-9522.
